Complex Lead Acetates

Reference has already been made to the combination of lead acetate with alkali acetates in solution. The double or complex acetate NaC₂H₃O₂.Pb(C₂H₃O₂)₂.3H₂O was prepared by Rammelsberg, and forms monoclinic crystals.

Various compounds of lead halides with lead and alkali acetates have been prepared.

PbClC₂H₃O₂, 5PbIC₂H₃O₂ Pb(C₂H₃O₂)₂, Pb(C₂H₃O₂)₂.PbCl(C₂H₃O₂)₂, and 2(PbIC₂H₃O₂.NaC₂H₃O₂).HC₂H₃O₂, Pb(C₂H₃O₂)₂.PbClC₂H₃O₂.3H₂O, PbIC₂H₃O₂.KC₂H₃O₂, Pb ClC₂H₃O₂.HC₂H₃O₂, PbIC₂H₃O₂.NH₄C₂H₃O₂.
