Lead Selenite, PbSeO₃

Lead Selenite, PbSeO₃, is a white powder, sparingly soluble in water, prepared by decomposing a lead salt with selenious acid or a soluble selenite, by dissolving lead oxide in the same acid, or by oxidising lead selenide with nitric acid; it fuses without decomposition, forming a yellow liquid.
